Description:
The height of the cliffs on the Yaschera reaches 30 meters. Basically, they are composed of beautiful white quartz sands with separate dark layers. In the steep shores of the left shore of the Yaschera river there are small grottoes. And from the high shore offers a picturesque view of the river valley.
The surrounding area is dominated by plains with swampy depressions, ravines, separate ridges and gently sloping wide hills. Coniferous and mixed forests alternate with areas of floodplain and dry meadows. There are rare protected species of plants. Diverse animal world. The rivers are home to brook trout, grayling, river lamprey.
During the Great Patriotic War in the vicinity was the line of the Luga frontier, the remains of old trenches.
