At the very beginning of the 20th century Russia was at the top of its economic development. Saint-Petersburg was the industrial, cultural and political capital of the country. Representatives of high Russian society lived, served and worked on the banks of the Neva. In 1917 there were about 200 gala and small palaces in the city. Members of the Imperial family, merchants and owners of industrial enterprises possessed them.

Description:

During our tour we’ll see a small number of those palaces, the ones located in Angliyskaya naberezhnaya (English embankment), Admiralteyskaya naberezhnaya (Admiralty embankment) and Dvortsovaya naberezhnaya (Palace embankment) and admire the most picturesque city centre panoramic views.

Our excursion starts from the passenger ferry quay in Angliyskaya naberezhnaya (English embankment) and will end next to Troitskiy (Trinity bridge) in 1.5 hours.
