Alapaevsk was founded in the XVIII century. The great Russian composer Petr Chaikovsky spent part of his childhood here. Today, the memorial House-Museum of Chaikovsky presents an exhibition dedicated to the life of the future composer and his family in Alapaevsk, as well as a collection of rare musical instruments from around the world.
The tour will continue in the village of Lower Sinyachikha. The unique Museum of Ural wooden architecture in the open air contains more than 20 buildings: chapels, mills, barns, peasant huts. The Museum complex of the village Koptelovo has a pavilion of folk crafts and a traditional Russian hut. The hut was built without a single nail, it preserved utensils and a real Russian oven. Performances of folklore ensembles, traditional Russian games, horse riding are held here.
